Abstract

The development of science and technology brings a very fast flow of information. Information is an absolute necessity for some parties. One of the parties that cannot be separated from the need for information is educational institutions. Educational institutions that are still not able to manage information properly are at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bustanul Ulum, with several problems being found. Among the problems found is that the institution often does not receive irrelevant information. These problems can be solved by managing information systems. Among these problems, the researchers attempted to conduct research at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bustanul Ulum. The research was carried out aimed at knowing the process of implementing Management Information Systems and the inhibiting factors for implementing management information systems at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Bustanul Ulum. The method used in the research process is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research are that information technology provides extraordinary contributions and benefits during the learning process. The benefits that can be felt by educators are the ease of accessing various information, both in accessing teaching materials, to learning media.
